More detail on this person: JEFFREY H. HOLMES, 49, EX-MEDEVAC PILOT FOR LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL Jeffrey H. Holmes, 49, of 4882 Liberty Lane, Wescosville, died Friday, Sept. 4, in his home. He was the husband of Janie (Watts) Holmes. They were married for 27 years in March. A pilot, he worked for Keystone Helicopter Corp., West Chester, Chester County, for 17 years, most recently as lead pilot for Guthrie aircraft at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Bradford County, for four years. Previously, he worked for University MedEvac at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 13 years. Born in Drew, Miss., he was a son of the late Roscoe Holmes and Naomi C. (Cowley) Holmes Green. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving two Silver Stars and a Bronze Star, he also served in the West Virginia National Guard. Survivors: Wife; son, Scott Jeffrey of Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County; daughter, Kristi Jo, wife of Christopher L. Eckert of Slatington; sister, Lydia of Lowell, Ark., and brothers, John and Ross P., both of unknown address. Memorial services: 8 p.m. Tuesday, Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown.
