More detail on this person: Bill retired from the Army in April 1986 as a CW3.He had a long career as a helicopter pilot. Lifeflight for Welborn Hospital in Evansville Ind. He flew offshore for Air Logistics out of Louisiana. He taught ROTC for Clear Creek Independent School District. He opened a Gun Store and Indoor Gun Range in League City in 2006. It was his life long dream. It is the only 5 star rated Indoor range in Texas. He truly lived the American Dream.

survivors: He is survived by his wife of 44 years Mary, Daughters Brandy Liss and Kathleen James both of League City and Sons William Travis James and Bradley James of League City. He has two beautiful grandchildren Cameran and Kaylee Liss of League City.

other: Bill attended the 2012 reunion in Louisiana. He was very ill and was unable to enjoy the reunion as much as he wanted too. He was able to attend the banquet. He stood tall and proud in his dress blues. It was on his bucket list.
