More detail on this person: I was in OCS with Bobby and we both were in the Tomahawks together, but did not know he died last summer until I saw the entry on the DAT List. I had not talked to him in a couple of years; he did tell me that he was having "health problems." Here is some additional info from the funeral home obituary:

Bobby Randall Jones, 61, of The Colony, TX, passed away August 7, 2008 in Carrollton, TX. Born in Corinth, MS, to Maurice and Laura Jones, he was raised in North Texas, and Graduated from Hillcrest High School, Class of 1965. That year he married Mary Jameson. Later that same year he joined the US Army where he served from 1965 to 1972. He served as a helicopter pilot/instructor during Vietnam. Mr. Jones also leaves behind three children: Susan and husband Richard; Christine Jones; and Russell and wife Gina. He also leaves behind his sister, Sherry and husband Tom Leftwich and family. Six Grandchildren: Michael, Jessica, Dylan, John, Ian, and Luke. Arrangements under the direction of Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, TX. From: Pat Richardson
