More detail on this person: David T. Jacobson - 'Beloved Husband, Father and Brother' MURRAY, Utah - David T. Jacobson passed away July 29, 2004, after a valiant struggle with cancer. He was courageous to the very end. David was born August 18, 1947, in Ely, Nev., to Gordon and Kathleen Clawson Jacobson. He married Donna Ann Fjeldsted July 29, 1993. David risked his life many times as a scout pilot, serving two terms in Vietnam, receiving the Purple Heart. He loved to sail, and enjoyed sharing his expertise with computers. He was a wonderful husband, a model father, and a great friend to everyone he knew. He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Anna Kathleen; son, Davis Jacobson; sisters, Susan Bolen, Patricia Shannon (T.J. Mack) and Julie Kaye Jacobson. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Britain David. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 2 at 11 a.m., at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 S. Vine St. Friends may call Sunday, August 1 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St. Interment will be in the Murray, Utah City Cemetery. A wake will be held Monday, August 2 at 7 p.m., at the home of Floyd Hair, 6640 S. 2960 W., West Jordan, Utah.
