Eric Jowers was an Army Aviator, former Rucker
PAO, and all around good man. He will be missed.

Eric passed away Saturday night. Here are the
announcement and the funeral arrangements as
posted on caringbridge.org by his son:
Dad passed away surrounded by family and love
tonight.
His passing was extremely peaceful and blessed by
God. Before passing away, Dad spent an hour and
a half off of the respirator and surrounded by
family. He was heavily sedated, but if he could
hear, he heard a roomful of family telling stories
and laughing, just the way he wanted it.
After an hour and a half, he calmly took a final
breath and went to a much better place, home to
our Lord.
We will be finalizing arrangements on Sunday and
Monday. All we know now is that his funeral will
be in Ozark, Alabama. We will let you know more
(e.g. date/time/location of the service,
charitable organizations to make donations to in
lieu of flowers) as we finalize the plans.
We cannot begin to thank you all enough for your
prayers and love.
