More detail on this person: Jerry Judy Retired United States Army Lt. Col. Jerry Edward Judy, 73, of Leavenworth, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Lansing. Jerry was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Harrison County, Ky., the son of Charles Edmond and Vera E. (Maffett) Judy. On Jan. 28, 1956, he married Marylyn Mulvanity. She survives him. He is also survived by two daughters, Theresa Lynn "Teri" and husband Jerry C. Myers and Catherine Ann "Cathy" and husband Paul Laugesen; two sons, Jack Thomas and wife Anne Judy and Jerry Michael and wife Tammy Judy; a sister, Wanda Joyce Cooke; and ten grandchildren. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church, Ft. Leavenworth O.B'S, Leavenworth Noon Lions Club, V.F.W., American Legion, Knights of Columbus, H.A.B., Kansas Square Dance Association, M.O.A.A. and O.V.-1 Mohawk Association. Mass of Christian Burial was on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at St. Francis de Sales Church, 900 Ida St. in Lansing. Burial with military honors followed in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Francis de Sales Building Fund or donor's choice.
