More detail on this person: Lt. Col.Alfred B. Jarden. (ret.) died in July of 1981. After serving two tours of duty in Vietnam Nam, one in Korea, and retiring in Charlottesville, Va, he succumbed to lung cancer and died at the age of 54. He is survived by his widow, Dolores, who never remarried, 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren with 4 more soon to arrive.

Served one 18 month tour in Korea with 425 TTRG (1951-1953). Two tours in Germany with the 7th Army TC as aircraft maintenance officer. Served two tours with the 9th Inf Div in Vietnam. Retired from USARPAC, Ft Shafter, HI. He died July 8, 1981 in Charlottesville, Va from lung cancer. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
