My wife and I found a wonderful cityscape painting
of Horst's at an estate sale a few months back . I
have no idea if it was his own tableau or a copy,
but it was nicely done, and hangs in our dining
room. I'll email you a pic if you'd like.
The estate sale was for a fellow Viet War vet that
he had apparently served with. This Vet had served
in Army (Airborne) and passed away just a few
months back. His kids knew nothing of his service
friends and could give no details of his
belongings. We only found about about horst by
studying the painting and googling the name
results.
Suffice to say that he painted the pic we have,
and it is very nice; and if he painted others, it
would be cool to know where they are. My Pop is
a vet of three tours and does not remember Horst.
But /I/'m sure they rubbed elbows somewhere and it
would be cool to hear from others.
