More detail on this person: GEORGE GEARHART KING Sr. FL United States KING, GEORGE GEARHART, 80, died Nov. 4, 2010. He is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Joan Morris King; son, George G. King Jr. and wife, Aggie; two daughters, Diane Wallach and husband Mark; Julie Paliuca and husband Victor; one surviving sibling, Hugh G. King III. He was blessed with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A native of Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late J. Howard and Christine King. George was a highly decorated military officer serving his country in three tours of war. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at 2 p.m., at Markham Woods Presbyterian in Lake Mary, FL. He will be buried in Lexington, KY.
