More detail on this person: Abel L. Kahoohanohano, 74, of Kahului, a retired field operations superintendent for the Maui Board of Water Supply, died Monday in Maui Memorial Hospital. He was also a former football coach for St. Anthony's High School, Kahului Alii's Pop Warner and the Makawao Cowboy's Pop Warner. Born in Wailuku, he is survived by wife Madeline; sons George, Abel Jr., Michael and Karl; daughters Sandra Kahoohanohano, Letitia Franco and Juanita Fernandez; brothers Ernest, David and Eugene; sister Elaine; 21 grandchildren; and a great- granddaughter. Services: 8 p.m. Tuesday at Christ the King. Call from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Call after 8 a.m. Burial: Makawao Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire
