More detail on this person: Robert "Bob" (sometimes "RT") Kruse. My diary records he died 22 Oct 1994. He was on hunting trip in Montana at time of death Attending memorial service in Everett (or perhaps Marysville) WA in addition to myself was VHPA member Daryl C Spelbring.

Bob was owner of Kruse Tractor, Inc, in Marysville, WA (business ultimately liquidated after his death) Survived by former spouse, Barbara, and 3 children: Kara, Bob, Laura.

Bob and I alternated 24 hrs-on and 24 hrs-off as Fire Team Leaders on Det 4 of HA(L)-3 Navy Seawolves. I admired Bob tremendously as a pilot and a close friend.

PS - I continue to be involved with SE Asia as board secretary for www.CSC.org which is a hospital in Cambodia that has no religious or political affiliation but works on cooperative projects with USAF, USArmy, USMC. Can do a newsletter article on it sometime. It's a satisfying way to continue involvement. My VFW lifetime membership is in the Phnom Penh VFW Post - - likely you didn't know Phnom Penh has a VFW Post.
