More detail on this person: He was killed 25SEP67 in an OH-13 crash in Germany while assigned to the 35th Arty Grp. A/C crashed in a wooded area 15 miles NE of Erlangen while on a flight from Bamberg during Exercise Large Play due to engine failure. After loss of power, A/C descended and struck 12' oak trees, tearing left skid off, pitched A/C down with fwd section of cabin striking a stump in a nose low, slightly left side low attitude.
