Born in Chicago, he came here seven years ago from Mount Vernon, Va. He was an accountant fo the Treasury Department and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Vietnam War, a member of the Retired Officers Association Upper Suncoast Chapter, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Chester McKay Post 7987, both of New Port Richey, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, Alexandria, Va., and a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association. Survivors include his wife, Martha; four sons, Ben E., Tampa, F. Jay, Lutz, David M., Woodbridge, Va., and W. Paul II, Bogota, Colombia; five daughters, Rita A. Scartz, Woodbridge, Gina S. Ford, Miami, Geri P. Lusker, Charlotte, N.C., Joy E. Tanner, Williamsburg, Va., and Mary M. Snow, Horse Cave, Ky.; a brother, Ronald L., New York City; and 13 grandchildren. Michels-Lundquist Funeral Home, N ew Port Richey.
