More detail on this person: A stem cell transplant in 1999 failed to cure his Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Vance was buried at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. His two daughters are Krystal (who married an Army Helicopter pilot) and Tiffany. Vance was in Vietnam from 23 March 1969 to 13 March 1970. One of his awards says he was in the United States Army 240th Aviation Company (Assault Helicopter), APO 96530. I believe they were known as the Greyhounds. I remember him talking about Bearcat and Phan Rang. I don't have much information other than than, except that I know he loved flying in Vietnam, as odd as that may sound.
