More detail on this person: Jonathan Lewis, 58 Obituaries - 8/1/04 Californian, The (Temecula, CA) - Sunday, August 1, 2004 SAN DIEGO - Jonathan Alik Lewis, 58, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, of lung cancer. Born May 2, 1946, in New York, he lived in San Diego for 46 years. He retired in April 2003, from Hodge, Lewis, Nieves LLC. He served as a warrant officer in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Lewis, on July 29, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Darby See Lewis of San Diego; mother Esther Eibel Lewis of Encinitas; daughters Lindsey Allison Lewis and Kerry Alexandra Lewis, both of San Diego; and brothers and sister-in-law Malcolm Lewis of Santa Barbara and Adam Lewis and Phyllis Pottish-Lewis, of Oakland. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery with Malcolm Lewis officiating.
