''Lucky'' Lutkevich, 51, of Britt, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 8, 2003, in his home, following a short illness. He was born on September 9, 1951, in Virginia, to Charles and Lucille (Longair) Lutkevich, Sr. He was a graduate of the Roosevelt High School, Class of 1969. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War where he served as a helicopter pilot. He was a longtime Britt resident. He had worked for St. Louis County and was a self-employed carpenter and handyman. He was preceded in death by his father in 1996. Survivors include his mother, Lucille Lutkevich of Virginia; two sisters, Lucille (Bonnie) Bulver of Virginia and Mary Lou (John) Koivu of Fayal Township; one brother, Charles (Sharon) Lutkevich of Duluth; and numerous nieces and nephews. VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Wednesday in the Landmark Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia, with Rev. Kenneth Tamte officiating.
