Survived by wife Patsy Lynch; children, Kelly (Tim) Stewart, Nick (Denise) Lynch, Lori Lynch, Katy (Jason) Erwin; grandchildren Jimbo Britt, Ashlee Lynch, Jimmy Stewart, Justin Stewart, Eric Britt, Will Stewart, Jack Lynch, Eli Erwin, Miles Erwin; great-grandson Ethan Lynch; brother Murray (Sissy) Lynch; sister Carol (Perry) Moss and many other loving family and friends. Nick graduated from Father Ryan High School class of 1956 and M.T.S.U. in 1961; he was a retired U. S. Army Lt. Col. and served in the Army Medical Service Corp as a Medivac pilot with two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his retirement he worked at the Metro Tax Assessor's office. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2009 at St. Henry Catholic Church, Rev. Michael Johnston celebrant. Interment to follow at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1 p.m. Active pallbearers family and friends. Honorary pallbearers members of Dustoff Pilot's Association. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Father Ryan High School or St. Jude's Children Hospital. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2009 at St. Henry Catholic Church.
