More detail on this person: Met him at home in Parma Heights, Ohio after his Vietnam tour, he was dying of cancer. His father an ex navy pilot from WWII, showed me his son's ( Loebs Frank J) DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross).

From: Jenoe Gordon WO Frank J. Loebs Jr. Services for Frank J. Loebs Jr., 27, an Army warrant officer and a former helicopter pilot in Vietnam, will be at the Busch funeral home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, at 10:30 a.m. Monday. He died of cancer Wednesday in the Walter Reed Army Hospital, Washington D.C. He had been awarded the Bronze Star, a number of Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross for his services in Vietnam. He was graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1967. Surviving are his wife, Linda; his parents and two sisters.
