More detail on this person: Cyril Carter Long, 61 DEATHS El Paso Times (TX) - Sunday, October 31, 1999 Cyril Carter Long, 61, of El Paso died Wednesday (Oct. 27, 1999). Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2322 Lee Trevi?o. Burial will be in Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Carol F. Jackson-Long his sons, Cyril West Long, Corwin Theron Long and Christopher Thomas Long and seven grandchildren. He was a retired Army CW4 and a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War and earned several commendations. He lived in El Paso 24 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 909 E. San Antonio, El Paso, TX 79901 or to the El Paso Cancer Treatment Center, 7848 Gateway East, El Paso, TX 79915. Arrangements are by Hillcrest Funeral Home.
