More detail on this person: Our Fallen Heroes Major General Dale Lucas May 30, 2011: Today we lost an American Hero on the day we honor fallen American Heroes. Major General Lucas was one of the founders of the Joint Service Honors Command. It was his desire to honor all of those who served their country. Today we honor him. General Lucas served two tours in Vietnam and returned a hero. He served as an enlisted man and an officer. He was a leader in every sense of the word. General Lucas will be missed by all in the Joint Service Honors Command. We pray for his family that they may be comforted.
