More detail on this person: Thomas (Tom) Lippolt Moved on to the LORD on December 6, 1997. He is survived by brother-in-law, John T. Hill; cousin, Gary D. Carstensen of Tucson; nieces, Jean L. (Dick) Clark of West Linn, OR and Jane M. (Brian) Brooks of Pomona, CA; friends Debra D. Sylvester, Len P. (Stephanie) Ness, and Michael (Becky) Norton all of Tucson. Tom was born in Madison, WI on March 9, 1947 to Walter M. and Hazel I. Lunn. His mother remarried to Donald F. Lippolt and the family moved to Tucson in 1952. Nearly a native, Tom graduated from Palo Verde High School. He was a helicopter pilot and Vietnam Veteran. Tom received two BS degrees and a MBA from the University of Arizona. He's worked for Burr-Brown, owned his own consulting firm, worked for Dun and Bradstreet Software of Atlanta, and Avalon Software of Tucson. Most recently he worked for Systems Software Associates (SSA) headquartered in Chicago as a Business Consult Manager for the Western Area. A member of the America Marketing Association (AMA) and the charter member of the Tucson Chapter of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) where he has served as president and board member. He is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM). Tom is an active member of Casas Adobes Baptist Church. Family and friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. (at McGee) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 12,. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 1997, 10:00 a.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, with Burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation of a "Gift of Life" by becoming a part of a Bone Marrow, Platelet and Organ Donor Program. Giving blood does not constitute donating platelets.
