Ray E Lockridge Q: In October 1985, a man named Larry Lapoint entered a Coker-Ewing real estate office armed. He shot the place, killing one person. What happened to that man? How many years did he get? KERRIE, SACRAMENTO A: Laurence Eugene Lapoint was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the 1985 murder of Ray Lockridge, 40, a Coker-Ewing vice president. Lapoint, now 71 years old, is at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione.
