More detail on this person: CHARLES K. MILLER CHARLES K. MILLER Tallmadge Express (OH) - Sunday, November 23, 2008 CHARLES K. MILLER Vietnam War veteran, Community Baptist Church member Charles K. Miller, 59, died Nov. 9, 2008. Born in Akron, Mr. Miller had lived in the area most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict as a helicopter pilot. He was employed with the Chrysler Corp. for 15 years and was a member of Community Baptist Church of Tallmadge, Warriors Journey Home and Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association. Mr. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Miller. He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Miller of Canton; daughter, Rachel Miller; son, Charles E. Miller II both of Jacksonville, Fla.; mother, Violet (Miller) VanLear of Tallmadge; sisters, Melony (Tom) Heyn and Gayle Savage, both of Tallmadge; nieces, Regan (Steven) Collier and Kylie (Steven) Cooper, both of Akron; nephew, Jeffrey (Karen) Smith of Kent; and seven great nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the Warriors Journey Home, 85 Heritage Drive, Tallmadge 44278.
