More detail on this person: MOUNT John M. Mount, 68, of West Palm Beach, FL and Hilton Head Island, SC and formerly of Cincinnati passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 11th. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Lynch) for 42 years, devoted father of John (Kimberlee) Mount Jr. of Cincinnati, OH and Marybeth (Benjamin) Leahy of Rye, NY and proud grandfather of Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary Katherine, Grace, Jack and Maggie Mount and Olivia, Caitlin and William Leahy. Loving son of the late A. Howard and Olive Mount. Dear brother of the late Edson (Anne) Mount, brother-in-law of Maureen (Edward) Tedesco and son-in-law of the late James and Mary Lynch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. John graduated from Cincinnati Country Day School and Colgate University in addition to receiving his MBA from Xavier University. He joined the US Marine Corps in 1967, flew Cobra helicopters in Vietnam from 1969 - 1970, attaining the rank of Captain. After serving in the Marine Corps, John work ed for DuBois Chemicals Inc. until he retired as President & CEO. Subsequently he worked as a consultant before working as President & CEO of Service America. He also served on the Board of Chemed Corporation for many years. John was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, sports and telling stories. He had a great sense of humor and lived life to its fullest. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 19th at St. Gertrude Church at 10 am. Friends may visit with the family at Kenwood Country Club following the mass. Remembrances may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children of the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund or charity of one's choice. Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home serving the family.
