More detail on this person: On Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 6:46 PM, God the Father saw fit to call His Servant, Rabbi Eddie Mason of thirty-two years, to come and dwell in his Kingdom. He served in the United States Army for twenty years; he retired as a CW-3 Helicopter Pilot and Instructor Pilot at Fort Lewis, Washington honorably. He served in the community, working with the Bethel School District through an organization that he formulated named Save Americas Youth; he created the Nehemiah Scholarship Fund at the Hebrew Embassy & Training Center, of which he was the founder, at 501 South 84th St. in Tacoma, Washington, 98444. Rabbi Eddie Mason leaves behind his wife, Fredda M. Mason, of fifty-four years of marriage; five children of their union, daughter Jacqueita L. Bell, daughter Victoria D. Mason, son Eddie LaF. Mason, son DeVaughn M. Mason, and son Shelby M. Mason; grandchildren Dwayne Jr., Martin Jr., Ehrin, DeVonna, Eddie Jr., and Cydni; and four great-grandchildren, Micah, Zamir, Harmony, and D'Yahdi. Eddie's siblings were/are fifteen in number: William, Leo, David, Martha, Robert (dec), John (dec), Jimmie (dec), Samuel, Elijah, Maryann, Clarice (dec), Jerry, Aaron, Edna, and Adlene. Many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many other relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, 3pm-7pm, at House of Scott Funeral and Cremation Service, 1215 MLK Jr. Way, Tacoma. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at 11am at Fern Hill United Methodist Church, 505 Fawcett Ave, Tacoma, WA. Services entrusted to Ms. Kitty Scott, House of Scott Funeral and Cremation Services.
