More detail on this person: Paul J Milligan Paul Milligan, 58, of 51 River Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, N.H. on Friday, May 9, 2008. He was the widower of Diane E. Pontifex Milligan who died February 24, 2008. Paul was born February 11, 1950 in Boston, Mass., the son of Daniel and Therese Brennan Milligan. He was raised and attended school in Dorchester, MA and had served in the US Army. He moved to Gilford thirty-four years ago. Paul was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport and was a member at Laconia Country Club. He enjoyed boating and snow skiing. He had formerly been employed by Verizon for 33 years. Survivors include his four sons, Michael P. Milligan of Gilford, Kevin J. Milligan and his fiancé, Alyssa McRell, of Laconia, Daniel T. Milligan of Gilford and Steven R. Milligan also of Gilford; a granddaughter, Lilly Milligan of Laconia; four brothers Richard Milligan of Saugus, MA, James Milligan of Melrose, MA, Gerard Milligan and Mark Milligan both of Gilford; a sister, Denice Keefe of Gilford; several nephews and nieces. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Lakeport, NH. Burial of Paul and Diane will follow in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, N.H. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
