More detail on this person: David Edward Morris Sr, 53 Obituaries Chattanooga Times Free Press (TN) - Tuesday, December 12, 2000 KERNERSVILLE, N.C. -- David Edward Morris Sr. died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at a hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. He was 53. The Chattanooga native was a son of the late Edward M. and Doris Dean Morris. He was a 1970 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves until 1977. He was employed by Holt's Bonding Co. in Winston-Salem. Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Marie Morris; son, David E. Morris Jr., Kernesville; son, Clinton J. Head; Mocksville, N.C.; sister, Cathie Mayne, Chattanooga; one granddaughter; and two nieces. The funeral will be Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home in Kernersville. Burial will be in Mt. Gur Cemetery.
