More detail on this person: Harvey C Mayse He was the son of Hugh M Mayse and Marie W Forney. All information located on his mother is that her maiden name was Forney. In 1930 Harvey is located with his parents and older brother Robert in Wenatchee, Chelan, Washington. His father was employed as a gas maker for a power plant. Harvey and his mother are still in Wenatchee on the 1940 Census, although Harvey's father was not listed at the home when the Census taker wrote up the document. (Located his father Hugh as a patient at the Northern State Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, Skagit, Washington on the 1940 Census and apparently that is where his father passed away.) Harvey first enlisted in the military in Spokane, Washington, on 26 May 1943. He was listed as single and his civilian occupation was in the skilled warehousing, storekeeping, handling, loading, unloading, and related occupations, n.e.c. Harvey attended the University of Nebraska and is located in the Corn Husker Yearbook of 1944. During the course of his military career, he enlisted several times, with the last one being 3 Jan 1951 and released from active duty on 30 Sep 1977.
