McDonald, 72, of Fayetteville, died Monday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cumberland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Entombment with military honors will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. McDonald; a son, Michael McDonald of Hope Mills; three daughters, Darla J. Stahl of Warner Robins, Ga., Tamarra L. Bishop of Fayetteville and Patricia A. Elmore of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills.
