More detail on this person: Peter H Mitchell, 65 OBITUARIES St. Petersburg Times (FL) - Wednesday, September 20, 2000 MITCHELL, PETER H., 65, of Clearwater, died Monday (Sept. 18, 2000) at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo. He was born in Johnson City, N.Y., and came here in 1992 from Wayne, Pa. He retired with the rank of major after 20 years as an Army pilot and was a veteran of two tours in the Vietnam War. He earned a master's degree in criminology from Troy State University in Alabama and was an Episcopalian. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jackie; a daughter, Alexandra Rupp, Bradenton; a son, Derek, U.S. Naval Base at Oak Harbor, Wash.; a brother, Derek, Hamilton, Mont.; and five grandchildren. Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater.
