More detail on this person: CLODE JARRETTE MOATS Tx Obit By Ami October 03, 2001 at 10:03:55 CLODE JARRETTE MOATS, was born July 24, 1930, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania and passed away September 26, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada following a long fight with cancer. Mr. Moats was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 4, where he served as a pilot of rotor and fixed wing aircraft. He flew charter flights to and from the Grand Canyon for Air Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1985 to 1988. He was the son of Jesse Jarrette Moats of Houston, TX. and Elda Myrtle Moats-Thrower of Spring, TX., and the brother of Rosetta Adams, of Spring, TX. (Deceased) and Bruce Calvin Moats, of Sugarland, TX. (Deceased). He is survived by his wife Flora M. Moats, of Las Vegas, NV., daughters, Eileen Ann Davis, of Enterprise, AL., and Gail Jean Stowe, of New Caney, TX., and grandson, Cody Keith Stowe, of U.S. Army, Ft. Stewart, GA. He leaves behind other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2001 from 7 PM to 9 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 5, 2001 at 11:00 A.M., at Brookside Funeral Chapel . Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
