More detail on this person: April 05, 1979 - U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Donald Monk and U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Michael Mooring lost their lives when their OV-1D Mohawk (69-17000) crashed while operating out of NWC China Lake. They were conducting a test when their Mohawk went into a high speed stall at low altitude and crashed. Both were from Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Donald was 42 years old and Michael was 31 years old.
