More detail on this person: Eric J Or Joe Moore, 70 Obituaries Las Vegas Review-Journal (NV) - Thursday, July 31, 2003 Eric J. "Joe" Moore, 70, of Las Vegas, died July 28, 2003. He was born on May 1, 1933 in San Francisco, Calif., and was a resident of Las Vegas for 32 years. Joe worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. He was also a retired major of the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam. Joe was a member of organizations such as the National Rifle Association, the Rome Air Development Center-Flight Test and a life member of the Armed Forces Association. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Patten of Pahrump; son, Eric of Las Vegas; sister, Margaret of Kelowna, B.C.; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 31, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. Graveside service will be at 9:20 a.m., Friday, August 1, at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Family requests that donations be made to the National Rifle Association.
