More detail on this person: Joseph T. Murphy Intelligencer, The (Doylestown, PA) - Friday, September 23, 2011 Joseph T. Murphy of Levittown died on Sept. 19, 2011. He was 64. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army. He is a 1965 graduate of Bishop Egan. He started his career flying helicopters for a Philadelphia News Station and also for Ronson Aviation of Trenton, N.J., and the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. He was the owner and operator of Fantasy Flights Hot Air Balloon Service. In 1986, he opened Liberty Auto Tags Deon Square in Fairless Hills. His interests included uni-cycling, motorcycling, fishing, sci-fi and the history channel, and watching the Philles and Eagles. Joes biggest joy was juggling and making balloon animals and magic tricks for the young, and the young at heart. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret 'Peg' (Connors). He was the father of Sharon Pfander (James), Sean (Denise) and the late Joseph 'JT.' He was the dear Pop of Abby, Shane, Amelia, Julia, Kayla and James; brother of John E., Eileen M., Michael, and Rosemary. He is also survived by a large extended loving family. He was the son of the late John and Agnes. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 1514 Woodbourne Road, Levittown, followed by his Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
