More detail on this person: Only pilot to have served two tours in the aviation unit, first as a Warrant Officer (67-68), and second as an Officer (71-72) (Captain). Captain Neil was the Aviation Platoon Leader in 1971-72 and retained that position when the unit returned to Fort Campbell. He was the OIC when the HHC, 1st Brigade PCSâÇÖd back to Fort Campbell in January 1972.
