More detail on this person: SOUTH GLENS FALLS - Frederick J . Neroni, 59, of South Glens Falls, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 27, 1991. Born on September 21, 1931, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Ferdinando and Luch (De Lorenzo) Neroni. Mr. Neroni was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy and Niagara University. He received a master's degree in business from Golden Gate University, San Francison, Calif. Mr. Neroni served in the U.S. Army for 23-1/2 years in the 82nd Airborne and Infantry Divisions, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel. He served in Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Germany. While in the Army, he received a Bronze Star and Army Commendation medals. Mr. Neroni was employed for 7-1/2 years at Christian Brothers Academy as a senior military R.O.T.C. instructor. He was recently employed as a real estate agent with the Levack Burke Real Estate Agency. Survivors include his wife, Marianne C Neroni of South Glens Falls; one daughter, Sigrid A . Irvine of Quincy, Calif; one son, Frederick W. Neroni of Irvine, Calif.; one sister, Philomena Maginn of Glens Falls; one brother, Michael J. Neroni of South Glens Falls; two grand-daughters; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday at St. Mary's Church of Glens Falls. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Americann Heart Association, 21 bay St., Room 410, Glens Falls, 12801. Arrangements are under the direction of the James F. Singleton Inc. Funeral Home, 314 Bay Rd, Queensbury, 12804.
