69, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Friday,
Aug. 29, 2014, in Pensacola.
Loving husband to Anne Auner Olroyd; father of
Katy (Eric) Clark and Carrie Akins; grandfather of

by his mother and father, Beulah and Loyce Olroyd.
Mike graduated from Jacksonville High School in

Mike and Anne were active members of their
church, the First United Methodist Church of
Pensacola, where Mike was especially active in the
church's VBS, constructing all of the elaborate
sets for the main stage activities. Mike also
headed up the church's Restore and Repair
committee which oversees the maintenance of the
200-year-old structures.
Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at
First United Methodist Church of Pensacola,
Florida. An online memorial website has been set
up at www.legacy.com (search for Olroyd) where
friends and family can share their fondest
memories of Mike. In lieu of flowers, the family
is asking that donations be made in his memory to:
