Lamont 'Jack' Oswald, 63, of Plano, Texas, died Friday, June 23, in Plano, Texas. He was the husband of Jean Gesine Wiesener Oswald. They were married for 11 years last August. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam before retiring in 1982 after 28 years of service. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Herbert Victor and Sarah Helen (Longenberger) Oswald. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church of Plano. Oswald was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Air Force Society, the Disabled American Veterans and the Greater Dallas Retired Officer's Association. Survivors: Wife; son, Michael Edward Richards of Frisco, Texas; daughters, Patricia Jo, wife of Kevin Bachman of McKinney, Texas, Allison Marie, wife of Richard Keene of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jill K. DeVillar of Dallas, Texas; brother, William of Allentown; sister, Barbara Gene Werner of Effort; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, McKinney, Texas. Contributions: To the church,Plano, Texas or the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Dallas, Texas.
