More detail on this person: Jerry W. Owen Jerry W. Owen, 34, of 2250 Sidney, Port Orchard, died Tuesday in an accident at Bremerton Naval Shipyard. He was born February 28, 1943 in Montgomery, Ala., and had been a Shelton resident for many years prior to moving to Port Orchard. He was graduated from Shelton High School, and served as a pilot in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife Cynthia of the home, a daughter Stephanie, and a son, John Wayne, both of the home. Memorial services will be held Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Washington, GA.
