Osgood, 53, of Glen Mills, Concord, a Boeing employee and Vietnam War veteran, died May 10 at home. Born in Corning, N.Y., he was raised in upstate New York. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1964 and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam as a warrant officer and helicopter pilot. He received the Silver Star and Distinguished Flying Cross. Mr. Osgood was employed at Boeing for 21 years, currently working in International Sales. He traveled in his job but loved being home and doing the things husbands and fathers do. His first love was his family. Mr. Osgood attended the Lima United Methodist Church. Survivors: Wife, Kathleen W. Osgood sons, Matthew B. Osgood of New York, Andrew J. Osgood of Glen Mills daughter, Emily J. Osgood of Glen Mills mother, Isabelle M. Osgood of Middletown brother, Robert M. Osgood of London sister, Carolyn O. Markowski of New York. Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N. Middletown Road, Lima, Middletown. Burial: Private. Contributions: The American Cancer Society, 600 N. Jackson St., Media, PA 19063.
