More detail on this person: Walter W Penzin, 66 Huntsville Times, The (AL) - Tuesday, July 7, 2009 Died July 4, 2009 Walter W. Penzin, 66, of Harvest died, Saturday at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Madison Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens with full military honors. Walter retired from 20 years of service in the U.S. Army as a chief warrant officer and a helicopter pilot with 32 air medals. He served two tours in the Vietnam. He retired from the U.S. Department of Defense Redstone Arsenal. Mr. Penzin was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Penzin. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Penzin of Harvest; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Byron Burdett and Kim Thompson and Steve Rollins, all of Fort Wayne, Ind.; stepdaughters, Melissa and husband, Greg Hardy of Madison, Julie and husband, Ben Hovey and Cindy and husband, Tim Turvin, all of Monrovia; 14 grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter; sister and brother-in-law, Caramay and Robert Koble of Fort Wayne; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Cheri Penzin of Marianna, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
