More detail on this person: Mr Frank Luther Pinner, 52 Marietta Daily Journal (GA) - Friday, May 15, 1998 Vietnam veteran Frank Luther Pinner, 52, of Marietta died Wednesday, May 13. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Howard L. Edwards III officiating. Mr. Pinner was a Georgia Southern University graduate and a 335th AHC "Cowboys" helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Department of Education Office of Inspector General and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and of the National Guards of Georgia and Florida. Survivors include his wife, Karen Pinner; one daughter, Erika Pinner of Marietta; one son, Will Pinner of Marietta; his mother, Nancy A. Pinner of Island Grove, Fla.; and one brother, Glenn W. Pinner of Island Grove. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cobb County Humane Society.
