More detail on this person: George Mckown Price, 64 GEORGE PRICE Florida Times-Union, The (Jacksonville, FL) - Wednesday, February 13, 2013 FL United States PRICE George McKown Price, age 64, son of Kenneth and Naomi Price, departed this earth after an extended illness, on Saturday, February 9th, 2013. He was a longtime resident of Mandarin, Florida. He was a Viet Nam Veteran and served in the U.S. Army as a CWO3 helicopter pilot in 1970 until he was honorably discharged. He is survived by his son, David Price, of Jacksonville, Florida and five grandchildren, Morgan, Meghan, Mathew, and Ethan Price, and Torie Adair. Also by his brother, John Charles Price (Janis) and his sister, Mary Katherine Burnham (David). George will be remembered for his love of friends and the many outdoor activities he enjoyed with them, especially fishing, sailing and golf. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 13th at the Earl B Hadlow Center for Caring, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257
