More detail on this person: Donald L. Peters Obituaries San Antonio Express-News (TX) - Saturday, May 6, 2006 Colonel (R) Donald L. Peters passed away May 3, 2006, going peacefully at home with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Claire, his four children, and seven grandchildren. Don was born in New London, CT on March 30, 1939 and graduated from the Citadel Military College of South Carolina in 1961. Don served our country for 26 years as an Army Aviator. He served two tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross (Oak Leaf Cluster) and Bronze Star (OLC). Locally he was active in the Knights of Columbus and Blessed Sacrament ACTS community. ROSARY SUNDAY MAY 7, 2006 7:00 P.M.
