More detail on this person: A 1968 Graduate of Lawrence Central High School; 1969 joined the Army and Attended aviation school at Fort Rucker, Alabama and served in Vietnam from Dec 1969 to Dec 1970. He had been presented the Distinguished Flying Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star,Purple Heart, Air medal, Vietnam Service and Campaign medals, Army Aviator's Badge and Expert Rifle Badge. Robert, a Chief Warrant Officer second class,and a Helicopter Pilot, was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. He died of injuries received while horseback riding.
