More detail on this person: James A. "Smokey" Rohrer, Jr. James A. "Smokey" Rohrer, Jr. died peacefully at home. After graduating from St. Agnes Catholic High School in Springfield, MO, Jim served in the U.S. Navy. In 1968, he joined the U.S. Army and became a scouter pilot in Vietnam. He received many medals and commendations including The Purple Heart. After working with South com at Ft. Rucker, AL, he came to Patrick AFB and worked for DynCorp, serving the Air Wing of The Department of States Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs for over 20 years. Surviving is his wife of 29 years, April and children, Gray, Patrick and Haley. ed family members. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, FL.
