More detail on this person: John A. Robinson Jr. LANSING -- John A. Robinson Jr., 52, of Lansing, Fayette County died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, in a Beckley area hospital after a long illness. He was a disabled Army captain and a member of Jeanette Baptist Church, Edmond. Surviving: mother, Virginia Workman Robinson of Edmond. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Victor, with the Rev. Paul Gene Syner officiating. Burial will be in the memorial gardens, with military rites by VFW Post 3110, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the mausoleum. Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions to the West Virginia Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
