More detail on this person: Robert R. Rosa, age 63, of Richmond, died Saturday (Jan. 8, 2011). He was born in Richmond on June 8, 1947, to Robert W. and Rebecca Hudelson Rosa and had lived here all of his life. He was a 1965 graduate of Richmond High School and received a bachelor's degree from Indiana State University in 1973. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and was the retired owner/operator of Rosa's Office Plus where he was a proud third generation participant in that industry. He developed a great love for cars and racing and was extremely proud of his daughters and their accomplishments. He enjoyed being with people and sharing good times and food. In addition to numerous community activities already noted since his death, Bob also served on the boards of the Wayne County Foundation and of Green Acres (now Achieva Resources). He was a founding member and served on the board of Independent Stationers. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jane Rosa; daughters, Sheryl Rosa of Chicago and Jill Rosa of Portland, Ore.; sister, JoAnn (Jim) Lucas of Columbus, Ind. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 15, 2011) at First English Lutheran Church (2727 E. Main St.). Pastor John Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (Jan. 14, 2011) from 4-8 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys & Girls Club of Wayne County, 1717 S. L St., Richmond, IN 47374; or to Girls, Inc., 121 N. 10th St., Richmond, IN 47374; or to the Wayne County Foundation for the Rosa Scholarship Fund, 33 S. Seventh St., Richmond , IN 47374.
