More detail on this person: Roger Lee Ratzlaff, 54 OBITUARIES Denver Post, The (CO) - Wednesday, September 26, 2001 Roger Lee Ratzlaff, 54, of Parker, a senior Army instructor, died Sept. 20 in Denver. Graveside services were Tuesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery. He was born July 4, 1947, in Wichita. He received a bachelor's degree in industrial arts from Pittsburgh State University and a master's degree in logistics from Florida Institute of Technology. On Sept. 2, 1972, he married Janet Greene in Ozark, Ala. He was a helicopter pilot with the Army during the Vietnam War. After 22 years in the Army, he retired from the service and became a senior Army instructor of JROTC at George Washington High School. He also worked with the National Ski Patrol at Silver Creek for the last nine years. His interests included fishing, hunting and skiing. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Andrew and Terry, both of Parker; his mother, Twila, Wichita; and a sister, Rosemary Diann Ratzlaff-Stampfli, Belle Plaine, Kan.
