More detail on this person: Bob served 26 years in the U.S. Army, retiring in 1993 as a CW-4. He served in Vietnam with the 48th Assault Helicopter Company,10 Aviation Battalion, 17th Aviation Group, 1st Aviation Brigade. His call sign was"Blue Star 194. Bob served in Vietnam in 1969-70. His unit supported the 9th ROK Division (Korean White Horse Div.).

Survivors: His son, Ryan and his wife Amy and two grandchildren, Jackson and Eleanor. By Roberts brother,Michael and his wife Kay and nephew Benjaman. His former wife, Mary Anne.

other: Robert was pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Donna Regester.Roberts father was a retired Lt. Commander and suffered with OCD and partial blindness. When Bob retired he went to California to take care of his father until he passed. From there he moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to be near his son Ryan and his family. Bob wanted to be near his only family and be the best grandpa a kid could find.
